A coffee grinder I made for practice. My goal was to produce a stylized Low-Poly asset that could be used in games.
This was originally a small project in one of my university courses but I decided to finish it by creating textures for the model. I used Blender to model the low-poly object and sculpt a high-poly mesh and Substance Painter to bake and create the Textures.
I also updated it by reducing the overall poly-count. Originally, I kept the edge flow around the model but since it doesn't deform, I collapsed the quads where it made sense. However, I also tried not to introduce overly flat triangles to reduce quad overdraw.
The model now has ~1.25K verts (as opposed to 1.7k prior) and uses 2K textures.
