I've always had a passion for video games and eventually decided to make them my profession. My journey in this field began with my Game Design & Development studies at Macromedia University. During this time, I gathered knowledge in many fields connected to Game Development - from Game Art to Programming, Storytelling, Character & World Design, etc. - often in form of practical experiences through projects.
My studies helped me discover my interest in 3D Art (and art in general) and decided to specialize in this area. In the end, I completed my studies by writing a Bachelor Thesis on a topic concerning Environmental & Level Design:
Bringing Light into Darkness - The Use of Light in Horror Games to Influence the Pacing
From now on, it's my goal to make an impact on this world by creating games with beautiful and artistic worlds, and with deeper messages hidden between the lines.
Apart from that, I like to play piano, read good books, and, of course, play video games in my free time. I would consider myself to be a very balanced and peaceful person with a deep urge to pet cats.
I'm now actively looking for a job or freelance opportunity in the gaming industry. Please feel free to contact me if you have (or know of) any open positions.
